Join us on Wednesday, July 1st for a full day of music, family fun, community spirit and Canada Day excitement at the Barrhead Sportsgrounds. Whether you're hitting the asphalt for ball hockey, splashing at the pool, dancing to live music, or browsing the vendor market, there's something for everyone until the fireworks light up the night scky.
Rain plan: All activities move indoors to the Barrhead Agrena.
We're bringing the party to Barrhead with headliner Black Board Jungle, joined by special guests Sauvage Plain, Geinger and David Jukebox Lee.
Lace up and hit the pavement at our family-inclusive ball hockey tournament open to all ages and skill levels. Fair play is the name of the game.
The tournament features two rinks running simulataneously, with 25-minute run-time games (two 10-minute periods and a 5-minute break). Up to 8 teams can register, with room for more if interest demands.
Team Size: 12 players
Registration Fee: $5 per player (payable at the Barrhead Regional Aquatics Centre). Fees support prizes for our winners.

Beach Volleyball is coming on Canada Day. Details, including schedule and registration are being finalized for this U12 and U17 event. Watch their Facebook channel for updates and registration information.
Cool off with a Toonie Swim at the Barrhead Regional Aquatics Centre. Just $2 gets you in the water - the perfect afternoon escape for the entire family.
The fun really kicks into gear at 2 pm with bounce houses, glitter face painting, water tattoos, and cotton candy. Families can also enjoy bowling and a stroll through the Country Mama's Vendor Market, set up in the curling rink. Food trucks and the arena concession will be open throughout the day, along with a beer garden.
