This annual event marks the beginning of December celebrations in Barrhead. Families gather downtown to watch the parade, meet neighbours, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. It’s an evening filled with colour, sound, and community spirit.
The Light Up & Polar Parade draws residents and visitors alike, making it an important seasonal tradition. It’s a chance to support local groups, take part in holiday activities, and share in the excitement of the season.
New for 2025, all floats must be registered to participate in the parade acknowledging they have read and understand the guidelines of the parade. Following set guidelines ensures a fun and safe experience for participants and attendees.
